'welcome onizou' painting by the students
Burning down the house! onizou set the classroom on fire during our 3-day workshop with the students at the design department of Chang Gung University (CGU). After a warm welcome by tutor Eleanor-Jayne Browne and her staff at the d/sign lounge, we turned up the temperature and got the creativity going.

We had 40 students in 8 teams, working on 5 topics:
- nomadic space
- nomadic clothing
- nomadic accessories
- help neo-nomads find the way
- track/show your movements
After a few hard days (and long nights) of work, the groups were ready for final presentation with some really nice concepts – scroll down to the bottom of the page to see the 8 ideas. Thanks to the
mix of product design students and media/visual communication students, we had some well-thought concepts including both product, packaging & brand identity. Most participants were in their
second year of study, except for a few 3rd year students that sneaked in to join us.
